The main stage of Worlds 2022 in New York continues. On the night of October 22, T1 played against Royal Never Give Up.

The duel promised to be hot, but ended in a categorical victory for T1. Faker and company scored a clean sheet victory over the current champions of the Mid-Season Invitational.

Although the fight ended dry, it was not devoid of bright moments. The most colorful map was number 2, where, behind T1, thanks to his ADC, Gumayusi on Xayah turned the match in favor of the South Korean club.

The MVP of the match was recognized by Gumayusi, but the main reward was the passage to the next stage of the playoffs. In the semi-finals of Worlds 2022 T1 will meet the LPL champions from JD Gaming.

The 2022 World Championship runs from September 29 to November 5 in Mexico and the United States. The Play-In stage will take place from September 29 to October 4 at the Arena Esports Stadium in Mexico City, and the group stage will take place from October 7-10 and October 13-16 at the Hulu Theater at Madison Square Garden. The quarter-finals will be played at the same Hulu Theter from October 21-24, the semi-finals will be hosted by the State Farm Arena in Atlanta, and the final will take place at the Chase Center on November 5 in San Francisco. As part of the championship, 24 teams from all over the world are fighting for a total prize pool of $2,225,000.
