Worlds 2022 Play-In: DRX consolidated their advantage at the end of the second gaming day

The matches of the second gaming day were left behind, which means that we can sum up the intermediate results. DRX did their job best, beating Saigon Buffalo in 24 minutes and putting their Nexus down fairly quickly.

In the rest of the matches, Saigon Buffalo defeated Isurus Gaming, Royal Never Give Up defeated MAD Lions, and DRX in the second match of the same game day won the fight against the group's outsider Istanbul Wildcats.

After the meetings, DRX have 3 wins and 0 losses in their piggy bank, while the position of the Istanbul Wildcats is completely opposite. They failed to earn a single victory and were defeated three times.

The second line is shared by MAD Lions and Saigon Buffalo, and the fourth and fifth places are occupied by Royal Never Give Up and Isurus Gaming.

Worlds 2022 takes place from September 29 to November 5 in four cities in Mexico and the United States. The world title match will take place at the Chase Center, San Francisco. The total prize fund of the tournament will be $2,225,000, and 24 participants of the League of Legends World Championship will distribute it among each other.
