100 Thieves defeated Team Liquid 3:2 at LCS Summer 2022, thanks to which they made it to the final of the upper bracket of the championship, and also guaranteed a place in the 2022 World Championship. In turn, "liquid" went to the quarterfinals of the lower bracket, where they will meet with Counter Logic Gaming.

The first semi-final of the playoffs began with the total dominance of 100 Thieves, who took two opening games in 55 minutes in total and received great help. However, Reapered's wards clearly relaxed, as they allowed Team Liquid to bounce back and level the score in the series. And yet, at the end of the fight, 100 Thieves managed to show great initiative to close the fifth game in their favor and go further along the upper bracket.

The current lineup for the 2022 World Championship is as follows: Top Esports, Gen.G Esports, T1, G2 Esports, Rogue, Isurus, MAD Lions and 100 Thieves.

LCS Summer 2022 runs from June 18 to September 11 in Los Angeles at the LCS Studio venue. As part of the championship, ten North American teams are fighting for a prize pool of $200,000, rating points, and three tickets to the 2022 World Championship.
