Evil Geniuses will play with Kaori at LCS Summer 2022

Evil Geniuses announced on their Twitter account that Kaori has joined the starting lineup for the duration of the LCS Summer 2022. A representative of the academic roster will take the place of Danny, who will miss the upcoming event due to health problems.

It has recently been reported that Kyle 'Danny' Sakamaki is facing some issues that will prevent him from taking part in the upcoming LCS Summer 2022. Evil Geniuses has decided to replace him with current academy player Muhammed 'Kaori' Hasan Senterk. The latter has been playing at the EG academy since December last year.

Evil Geniuses managed to get to the top three participants of LCS Summer 2022 and secure an invite to the 2022 World Championship and a minimum reward of $30,000. In the next confrontation, the team will fight with 100 Thieves in the lower bracket final for the right to reach the grand final, where Cloud9 players will be waiting for them.

LCS Summer 2022 runs from June 18 to September 11. The total prize fund of the tournament is $200,000. And its distribution is carried out by 4 best participants of the event. 4th place has already been taken by Team Liquid, who were left without an invitation to the 2022 World Championship, but earned a minimum cash reward of $20,000. The winner, runner-up and bronze medalist will receive $100,000, $50,000 and $30,000 respectively.
