Cloud9 became champions of LCS 2022 Championship

The LCS 2022 Championship, the final tournament for teams from North America, has ended, which determines the teams that will go to Worlds 2022. This year, the Cloud9 esports club became the champion .

Zven and the team took 5th place at the LCS 2022 Summer, earning Cloud9 a slot in the LCS 2022 Championship. In the first round of the upper bracket, the team had to play against Counter Logic Gaming, whom they outplayed with a score of 3:2. Further on their way, the winners of LCS 2022 Summer, the team Evil Geniuses, met. Cloud9 gained momentum and defeated the opponent with a score of 3:1.

The same fate awaited the silver medalist of the summer season, the club 100 Thieves. After beating Huhi and his teammates 3:1, Cloud9 advanced to the grand final of the tournament. Zven and the team in a rematch outplayed 100 Thieves once again, this time with a score of 3:0, and became the champion of the LCS 2022 Championship.

According to the rules of the tournament, Cloud9 and 100 Thieves will go to Worlds 2022, and Evil Geniuses, the bronze medalists of the LCS 2022 Champions, will take part in the Worlds 2022 Play-In.
