All participants of Worlds 2022 have been determined
Maksym ShylovThe LCS 2022 Championship has recently ended, where the Cloud9 team became the winner. Along with this, all participants in the main League of Legends event of the year, namely the 2022 Season World Championship, better known as Worlds 2022, were determined.
In addition to Cloud9, 100 Thieves, who took 2nd place in the North American Summer Split Finals, will be attending the main stage at Worlds 2022. Evil Geniuses will play in the Play-In stage.
A total of 24 teams will take part this year. Due to the full-scale aggression of the Russian Federation against Ukraine, teams from Eastern Europe will not be represented at the LoL World Championship in 2022.

Recall that the 2022 World Championship will be held from September 29 to November 5 of this year. The venue for Worlds 2022 will be Mexico and the United States. In the main stage, 16 teams will compete for a $2,225,000 prize pool and the world title.
