The LCS Spring 2022 has come to an end. At the championship, which was held from February 5 to April 24 in Los Angeles and Houston, ten North American teams fought for a prize pool of $200,000, as well as a ticket to the Mid-Season Invitational 2022. The winner of the tournament was the team Evil Geniuses, who beat 100 Thieves 3-0 in the grand final and qualified to play at the Busan event.

The North American team had a very shaky start in the championship, having won nine victories and suffered nine losses in the group stage. At the same time, already in the semifinals, the team lost to Team Liquid (2:3) and fell into the lower bracket. Here Evil Geniuses proved to be stronger than FlyQuest (3:1), Cloud9 (3:0) and Team Liquid (3:0) to get to the grand final.

In the decisive match, the team defeated 100 Thieves (3:0), thanks to which they qualified for the Mid-Season Invitational 2022.
