Dota2 EWC results – Team Falcons dominate Virtus.pro 2–0 at Esports World Cup 2025 (BO3)
Team Falcons from MENA crushed Eastern European hopefuls Virtus.pro 2–0 in the first elimination round of the Esports World Cup 2025 playoffs.
Map one was all Falcons from the first horn. Malr1ne controlled the mid lane with precision and tempo, while skiter ran unchecked on carry, farming fast and cleaning up fights. Virtus.pro struggled to match Falcons' pace, and ATF’s front line gave them no breathing room. Falcons closed out a clean 22–9 win in just under 27 minutes.
Map two went even faster—and uglier for VP. Falcons hit hard in the early game and never looked back. Cr1t- and Sneyking dominated the map with vision and rotations, giving skiter and Malr1ne all the space they needed. With every lane pushed and every skirmish lost, VP couldn’t recover. Falcons ended the map 36–8 in just over 32 minutes, sealing the 2–0 sweep.
With the win, Team Falcons move on to face Eastern European giants Natus Vincere in the quarterfinals on Sunday, July 13 at 7:00 PM. Virtus.pro are out of the tournament after a one-sided defeat. Falcons look sharp going into the next round, while NaVi will aim to bring the heat in front of a packed crowd.
