DreamLeague Season 20 highlights
DreamLeague Season 20 will be the second tournament in the ESL Pro Tour series in 2023. Renowned for the ESL One Championship Series, ESL will be responsible for hosting the tournament.
The DreamLeague tournament will offer $1,000,000 for participants, twice as much as the 2023 edition of the major tournaments. Sixteen teams from six competitive regions - Western and Eastern Europe, China, North America, South America, South East Asia - will be competing for the massive prize pool.
The ESL European headquarters will be the venue of the championship. It is located in the Swedish capital Stockholm.
The participants of DreamLeague Season 20 will be determined by the updated EPT rating system. EPT is based on an ELO mechanism - each region has its own figure, and the ELO of an individual team is updated after every match they play.
For each region with at least 2 invited teams, the results of the best team are updated. This is done to prevent one strong team from earning a disproportionate number of slots for its region.
The championship will take place after the third round of DPC 2023. The DreamLeague Season 20 tournament will take place from July 7 to 25.
