Dreamleague Season 19 is the nineteenth Dota 2 tournament in the Dreamleague series, hosted by ESL. The championship will be the first event under the Dreamleague umbrella in 2023.
ESL is bringing back a major THIR1 Dota 1 outside of the DPC ecosystem. The Dreamleague Season 19 tournament will draw $1,000,000 as well as a ticket to the Riyadh Masters 2023 global summer event with a prize pool of $15 million.
Season 19 of the Dreamleague will bring together the best teams according to the EPT Ranking System. From April 9-23, they will compete for $1 million in prize money.

Dreamleague Season 19 highlights
Dreamleague Season 19 will be the first tournament in the new ESL series in 2023. The Championship in Dota 2 schedule planned for April 9-23, will offer participants a large cash prize and a ticket to the Riyadh Masters 2023, the biggest event of the summer.
A total of 16 teams will be involved in the championship. ESL will use an updated version of their world team ranking system, the EPT Ranking System, to induct teams.
According to the EPT, each team will be assigned a specific ELO, affecting its position in the overall rankings, as well as the region it represents. For example, Eastern Europe will get 3 extra slots due to the new system and North America will get 1.
When teams are determined by the EPT Ranking System, they will go on to fight for $1 million. An additional prize for the Dreamleague Season 19 top team will be a ticket to the Riyadh Masters 2023, which takes place this summer.
Dreamleague Season 19 format
Dreamleague Season 19 is divided into several stages: two group stages and a playoff. Each stage has its own special features.
The first group stage will bring together 16 teams and will follow a Round-Robin format. The teams are split into two bowls, where they play 2 or more fixtures. Next are the Top 4 teams from each group.
The next leg is an 8-team event. But there will be a single round-robin group and bo3 matches. The top 2 teams will qualify for the top play-offs, while the 3rd and 4th will finish at the bottom of the table.
The play-offs are played in a Double-Elimination format. All matches are played to two wins (bo3), while the grand final is played to three wins (bo5).
