Start of closed qualifier to IEM Sydney XIV is tomorrow!

Each division is represented by eight collectives that will be fighting for one invitation to Intel Extreme Masters Sydney XIV online.

The championship will be held from 30 April till 5 May in the most famous city of Australia, Sydney. The holding place will be a place called Qudos Bank Arena and the prize pool of the tournament will consist of $250,000. Sixteen collective will divide it. Nine out of them have got direct invitations from the organizers and the other six will make it to the tournament at the elimination round. The qualifiers will be held in six divisions: Europe, North America, China, East Asia, Southeast Asia and Oceania. The last slot will be played for at ESL AU & NZ Championship Season 8 — IEM Sydney Derby.

At the moment we know seven participants that will go to the championship. FaZe Clan, Team Liquid, MIBR, Ninjas in Pyjamas and Renegades have become owners of direct invitations as BIG and eUnited have become the best at European and North American qualifiers, correspondingly.
