EPIC CIS League Spring 2021: NAVI and Entropiq will play for fifth place

The Russian Computer Sports Federation, which is responsible for the CS: GO rating league, announced that Natus Vincere and Entropiq will have to play for fifth place in the championship. The winner of the bout will earn $ 2,000 and 1,200 RMR Points.

The statement was published in the official group on the social network VKontakte. There, representatives of the FCC of Russia told about the date of the match. The teams will have to meet each other at 19:00 UTC +3.

Initially, the match for the fifth place was not planned due to the lack of its necessity for the organizers and its value for the teams participating in the tournament. However, on the evening of May 28, Valve received information on the need for such a match to determine the teams above the limit for the RMR invite status. We discussed the match with the NaVi and Entropiq teams and agreed that the game would take place on May 30 at 18: 00 (CEST). We were surprised by the reaction of the representatives of NaVi on social networks, since the agreement on the holding of the match was reached before these publications. Confirmation of this fact is at the disposal of the administration.

Natus Vincere and Entropiq managed to play four matches in the championship. Both teams won 3 victories and 1 defeat each. This state of affairs makes the meeting more logical.
