Aurora defeat fnatic at the start of PGL Masters Bucharest 2025

The Aurora squad claimed a 2:0 victory (16:14 Mirage, 13:8 Dust2) over fnatic at the start of PGL Masters Bucharest 2025. Despite a tight battle, especially on the first map, the Turkish team remained composed in the crucial moments and began the tournament with a 1-0 record, while fnatic dropped to the 0-1 bracket.

Mirage (16:14 Aurora)

In the first half, fnatic showed a solid T side, taking the majority of rounds and finishing with a 7:5 lead. However, Aurora responded with a strong offense in the second half, denying their opponents a chance to close the map and forcing overtime. In the extra rounds, the Turkish team proved stronger, sealing the victory 16:14.

Dust2 (13:8 Aurora)

On their own map pick, Aurora started in control from the opening rounds. Playing on the T side, they managed to win most of the rounds and built a comfortable 8:4 lead. After switching sides, fnatic tried to turn things around but couldn’t find success. Aurora closed out the map 13:8, completing their 2:0 win.

Despite the loss, blameF was the best player of the match. He delivered strong individual stats, including 93.3 ADR, +4.47% Swing, and a 1.39 rating — the highest on the server. Unfortunately, his efforts weren’t enough to secure a win for fnatic.
