Legacy claimed a hard-fought 2:1 victory over SAW to secure a spot in the PGL Masters Bucharest 2025 Grand Final, where they will face Aurora. Despite losing on Inferno, the Brazilian squad showed resilience on Nuke and closed out the decider, Ancient, with a dominant 13:3 scoreline. The match MVP was saadzin, who posted a 1.32 rating.
Inferno (13:7 SAW)
From the very first rounds on Inferno, SAW controlled the pace of the game, taking a commanding 10:0 lead while Legacy couldn’t find their footing. In the second half, Legacy managed to win a few rounds but could only reduce the deficit to 7:12 before SAW closed the map 13:7.
Nuke (16:12 Legacy)
Nuke turned into a real battle. Although it was SAW’s map pick, Legacy held a slight advantage in the first half, leading 7:5. After the side switch, SAW regained control on defense and reached match point, but Legacy refused to give up — pushing the game into overtime and securing the win to force a decider.
Ancient (13:3 Legacy)
The final map, Ancient, was an easy one for Legacy. Their strong defense in the first half gave them both economic and psychological momentum. The second half was one-sided, as Legacy quickly secured four rounds to close the map 13:3.

PGL Masters Bucharest 2025 runs from October 26 to November 1 with a $625,000 prize pool, where the champion will earn $200,000 for the team and another $200,000 for the organization.
