Liquid couldn’t hold onto their early advantage: SAW mounted an incredible comeback, crushing their opponents 13–2 on Train and 13–1 on Inferno. The Portuguese underdogs sensationally advanced to the semifinals of PGL Masters Bucharest 2025, while Liquid finish their run in 5th–8th place.

Ancient (13:4 Liquid)

On their own map pick, Liquid started strong right from the first rounds. The team showed an impressive attack and finished the first half with a massive 10–2 lead. In the second half, SAW managed to take the first two rounds, gaining an economic advantage, but they couldn’t capitalize on it. Liquid closed out the map 13–4.

Train (2:13 SAW)

On Train, the Portuguese side stunned everyone with an outstanding performance. From the very first rounds, SAW put immense pressure on their opponents. As a result, they secured a comfortable 10–2 lead by halftime. A phenomenal display from Ag1l, who scored kills in almost every round, led the team to an easy 13–2 victory.

Inferno (1:13 SAW)

The decider on Inferno turned into a nightmare for Liquid. SAW completely dominated the game, conceding only one round in the first half. Coming back from such a score was impossible for Liquid, who fell with a crushing 1–13 defeat.

MVP of the match
