BetBoom demolished MIBR in their opening match at PGL Masters Bucharest 2025

BetBoom began their journey at PGL Masters Bucharest 2025 with a confident 2:1 victory over MIBR. Despite losing on Nuke, Boombl4’s team dominated Overpass and Ancient, securing a convincing win thanks to their solid defensive play and impressive individual performances.

Overpass (13:1 BetBoom)

MIBR chose Overpass as their map pick, but it turned out to be a huge mistake. BetBoom started on the CT side and completely controlled the game. They claimed 11 rounds in the first half, and the second half didn’t last long — MIBR couldn’t find a way back into the match and suffered a crushing 1:13 defeat.

Nuke (10:13 MIBR)

On their opponent’s pick, MIBR looked much stronger. Their active defense earned them 9 rounds in the first half. After the side switch, BetBoom managed to narrow the score to 9:10, but thanks to brnz4n and his 22/14 K-D, MIBR closed out the map 13:10.

Ancient (13:7 BetBoom)

On the decider, Ancient, BetBoom once again took control. MIBR managed to win only three rounds on the T side in the first half. After switching sides, they still couldn’t recover, and BetBoom wrapped up the map 13:7.

PGL Masters Bucharest 2025 runs from October 26 to November 1 with a total prize pool of $625,000, where the winner will take home $200,000 for the team and an additional $200,000 for the organization.
