Team Vitality demolished G2 with a 2:0 victory, leaving their opponents no chance. On Inferno, the French organization dominated with a 13:2 win, and on Mirage, they made a comeback to close out the series 16:13. After this confident performance, Vitality advance to the ESL Pro League Season 22 playoffs, while G2 now face elimination in the 2-2 bracket.

Inferno (13:2 Vitality)

The match began on Inferno, G2’s map pick. From the opening rounds, Team Vitality took full control, giving G2 no opportunities to execute their attacks. The first half was completely one-sided, with Vitality finishing it 10:2. The second half didn’t last long either — Vitality quickly wrapped up the map 13:2.

Mirage (16:13 Vitality)

On their own pick, Vitality initially looked unprepared. In the first half, G2 had the initiative and control, creating the impression that they were about to take revenge for the first map’s crushing defeat. G2 confidently won the half 9:3. However, in the second half, Vitality managed to turn the tide and force the game into overtime. In the extra rounds, Vitality didn’t allow their opponents to equalize and secured the map 16:13.

Match MVP

Two Vitality players stood out with excellent individual performances. ropz scored the most kills — 41 — and achieved the highest ADR at 99, while mezii posted the best Swing at +5.53% and a 1.48 rating.

With this victory, Vitality secure their spot in the playoffs. G2 remain in contention but drop to the 2-2 bracket, where there’s no room for mistakes. The main stage of ESL Pro League Season 22 runs from October 4 to 12, with the winner earning $100,000 for the team and an additional $150,000 for the organization.
