
Natus Vincere eliminate FaZe in IEM Cologne 2025 Group B Lower Bracket Final
Natus Vincere secured a decisive 2-0 win over FaZe in the Group B lower bracket final of IEM Cologne 2025. With strong teamplay and standout performances from iM and b1t, NAVI closed out Ancient and Inferno to advance to the quarter-finals. iM took MVP honors with a 1.68 rating and 106 ADR across two maps. FaZe are eliminated from the tournament.
Map 1 – Ancient (13:4 NAVI)
FaZe’s pick of Ancient didn’t pay off as NAVI jumped ahead with a 9:3 CT side. The second half was a formality, with NAVI closing it out 13:4. iM dominated the opener with 21 kills and 121 ADR, while b1t added a clutch 1v2 in the late rounds. FaZe struggled to break the defense, with no player reaching positive K/D.
Map 2 – Inferno (13:10 NAVI)
Inferno was NAVI’s pick and proved more competitive. FaZe kept it close with a 5:7 CT half, but makazze and w0nderful found key impact rounds in the second half to secure the win. b1t continued his strong form with 20 kills and 86 ADR, while iM sealed the map with a multi-kill hold in the final round.
With this win, Natus Vincere moves forward to face MOUZ in the IEM Cologne 2025 quarter-finals. FaZe are eliminated in the Group Stage. Earlier in Group B, MOUZ and Spirit advanced through the upper bracket.
IEM Cologne 2025 is held in Cologne, Germany. The tournament features a $1,000,000 prize pool. Stage 1 ran from July 26–27, Group Stage from July 28–30, and playoffs begin August 1. The champion earns $400,000, with $180,000 and $80,000 awarded to 2nd and 3rd place, respectively.
