3DMAX defeat GamerLegion in IEM Cologne 2025 Group A Lower Bracket
3DMAX secured a 2–1 victory over GamerLegion in the Group A lower bracket of IEM Cologne 2025. Lucas “Lucky” Chastang led with a 1.16 rating and earned MVP honors, while Bryan “Maka” Canda delivered key multi-kills on Inferno. GamerLegion are eliminated, and 3DMAX advance to face G2 in the lower semi-final.
Map 1 – Overpass (13:6 GamerLegion)
3DMAX’s pick backfired as GamerLegion started strong on defense, taking a 10–2 CT half. Fredrik “REZ” Sterner’s 4k hold on A secured early control. Despite a late Maka clutch (1v2 Deagle), 3DMAX couldn’t recover, and GamerLegion closed 13–6.
Map 2 – Inferno (13:11 3DMAX)
GamerLegion’s pick started evenly at 7–5, but 3DMAX’s T side surged late. Maka’s critical 4k entry on B brought map point, and Lucky’s closing frags pushed the series to Dust2.
Map 3 – Dust2 (22:20 3DMAX)
The decider stretched into double overtime. GamerLegion forced a second OT thanks to Erik “ztr” Gustafsson’s 1v2 clutch, but Lucky’s consistency (83.7 ADR) and Maka’s openings sealed 3DMAX’s 22–20 win.
3DMAX now move to the Group A lower semi-final against G2, while GamerLegion exit IEM Cologne 2025 in 13–16th place. FURIA face Falcons in the other lower semi-final.
