FaZe advanced to a 2-1 record at the BLAST.tv Austin Major 2025 after dispatching Legacy 13-8 on Anubis. The match, part of the third Swiss round for 1-1 teams, stayed even through the first half before FaZe tightened control on the CT side to close out the map.
Legacy held on early, managing a 6-6 scoreline at halftime thanks to a late-half 1v2 clutch from n1ssim, but momentum slipped as FaZe converted seven of the final nine rounds. The European mix minimized errors and controlled the late game economy, suffocating Legacy’s T-side efforts.
Oleksandr 's1mple' Kostyliev led FaZe with a 19-9 statline, 90.8 ADR, and a 1.55 rating. He was voted Player of the Match with over 96% support.
