FaZe eliminate MIBR 2-0 and move on to Stage 3
FaZe locked in their place at the BLAST.tv Austin Major 2025 Stage 3 with a clean 2-0 win over MIBR in the final round of Stage 2. The match never reached Nuke, with FaZe taking Anubis 13-4 and surviving a tight overtime finish on Ancient 16-12.
The match started on MIBR’s pick, Anubis, where FaZe’s defense shut things down early. MIBR couldn’t break through in the second half as FaZe ran five straight to close the map. Ancient was much closer, with both teams trading rounds before overtime, where FaZe’s experience prevailed.
MVP of the match goes to David "frozen" Čerňanský, who topped the server in rating (1.49), ADR (96.7), and impact. He played a critical role on both maps, anchoring the CT side and leading aggressive entries.
Stage 2 is now complete. See you at Stage 3 of the Austin Major—the pressure ramps up from here.
