The MongolZ cruise past Aurora, set up rematch with Vitality at IEM Dallas 2025
The MongolZ are not slowing down. After pushing Vitality to three maps in the group stage, the Mongolian squad has now eliminated Aurora with a convincing 2–0 in the quarter-finals of IEM Dallas 2025. The series started tight on Dust2, ending 13–11 in favour of The MongolZ, before they completely dominated Mirage with an 11–1 CT half, closing it 13–6. Nuke wasn’t needed.
Azbayar “Senzu” Munkhbold was named MVP of the match, finishing with 39 kills, +16 differential, and a 1.50 rating across both maps. He also pulled off a key 1v2 clutch on Mirage that broke Aurora’s final momentum.
This win means The MongolZ are heading to the semi-finals, where Vitality is already waiting. With how close the first encounter was (a 1–2 loss with a map win on Nuke), there's a real chance for revenge.

The MongolZ vs Vitality in the semi-finals. Will this be the Mongolian squad’s breakthrough to their first major final? Or will Vitality shut the door again?
Either way, the stage is set for another banger at IEM Dallas.
