Vitality defeat Falcons in a tense 2–1 series to reach IEM Dallas 2025 Grand Final
Vitality are back in the final, but Falcons didn’t make it easy. In one of the tightest series of the tournament so far, Vitality squeezed past their international rivals with a 13–7 win on Dust2, a shaky 6–13 loss on Train, and a brutal 13–11 finish on Inferno to close the series 2–1.
ZywOo, once again, proved why he’s one of the greatest in the game. He dropped 50 kills over the three maps and posted a 1.16 rating, winning Player of the Match with over 50% of the fan vote. But the difference-maker was Magisk’s 1v3 clutch in round 23 on Inferno — vintage composure in a high-pressure moment.
Meanwhile, NiKo looked razor-sharp for Falcons with 51 frags and a 1.22 rating, but despite some clutch moments from TeSeS and m0NESY, the team fell just short of making the final. It’s a painful result for Falcons, who now exit in the semi-finals for the second time this year.
Team Stat of match: Vitality – Falcons:
Team | Player | K-D | +/- | ADR | KAST | Rating |
Vitality | ZywOo | 50-45 | +5 | 77.0 | 69.8% | 1.16 |
Vitality will now face MOUZ, who swept The MongolZ 2–0 in the other semi-final. These two squads last met at ESL Pro League earlier this year, where Vitality came out on top, but MOUZ have looked deadly in Dallas. Can ZywOo and crew hold them off and lift another trophy, or will MOUZ complete their revenge arc?
