TACO to miss ESL Pro League Season 17 for personal reasons
/According to Dust2, TACO, the Brazilian player and captain of the 00NATION team, is forced to miss ESL Pro League Season 17 due to personal reasons. The place of an experienced veteran on the server will go to n9xtz, who previously represented the colors of Young Gods. It is also likely that coldzera, who was already in charge of IGL prior to TACO's move last summer, will take over the captaincy.
According to the source, 00NATION plans to clarify this issue in the near future. However, it is highly likely that TACO will still miss the championship and will not go with the team to Malta.
n9xtz is a former member of the Young Gods. Together with the team, the 19-year-old Brazilian player became the winner of ESEA Cash Cup: South America - Winter 2022 #1, and also took part in the WePlay Academy League Season 4. However, at the end of last year, n9xtz suspended his career and did not appeared on the server since October.
In turn, TACO is the captain of 00NATION, where he moved from the GODSENT camp last summer. It is not known what exactly is the reason for the absence of such an experienced player, and how long the team will do without its leader.
Interestingly, the Brazilian team has several other options if, for some reason, n9xtz is unable to compete in the championship. In particular, fer and fox are also announced for the team, which, if something happens, can help 00NATION.
Recall that the 00NATION team got into group C, where OG, Grayhound Gaming, Team Vitality, Ninjas in Pajamas, FaZe Clan, paiN Gaming and Rooster will also be represented.
Estimated roster of 00NATION for participation in ESL Pro League Season 17:
- latto
- dumau
- nqz
- coldzera
- n9xtz (stand-in)
- chucky (head coach)
