Cloud9 and ENCE are the first semi-final pairing of ESL Pro League Season 17

The first day of the ESL Pro League Season 17 quarter-finals is now over. Cloud9 and ENCE claimed victories over their opponents to form the first pair of the tournament's 1/2 finals. In their turn, MOUZ and Vitality were defeated, thus ending their performance in the competition.

In the opening game of the match day groove's charges took on MOUZ 2-1 (Inferno 10-16; Vertigo 16-11; Mirage 16-10). The ENCE team sensationally defeated Vitality 2-1 (Nuke - 14-16; Overpass - 16-11; Vertigo - 16-14).

The final quarterfinals will be held today, March 24, where FORZE and FaZe Clan will meet, as well as Heroic and NAVI. The ESL Pro League Season 17 semifinals will take place on Saturday, March 25.

ESL Pro League Season 17 takes place from February 22 to March 26 in Malta. The Championship will feature 32 teams from across the CIS, Europe, North America, Latin America, Asia, and Oceania competing for a combined prize pool of $850,000 as well as trips to IEM Cologne 2023 and the BLAST World Final 2023 for the winner.

  • 1st place: $200,000 + 3,000 points + entry to IEM Cologne 2023 and BLAST World Final 2023
  • 2nd place: $90,000 + 2,000 points
  • 3-4th place: $50,000 + 1,200 points
  • 5-8th place: MOUZ and Vitality: $35,000 + 500 points
  • 9th-12th place: Outsiders, G2 Esports, FURIA and paiN Gaming - $25,000
  • 13-16th place: Movistar Riders, Team Liquid, fnatic and 00NATION - $20,000
