List of invited participants for IEM Brazil 2023 revealed
6179Tournament operator ESL has presented a list of teams that received direct invitations to IEM Brazil 2023. Among them, there was a place for FURIA, NAVI, G2 Esports and FaZe Clan, with which twelve more teams will play, including five clubs from closed qualifiers.
The championship will begin with the group stage, where all sixteen participants will be divided into two groups. Further, three teams from each group will make it to the playoffs, where they will play for the IEM Brazil 2023 champion title. It is noteworthy that some well-known teams, including Team Spirit, Evil Geniuses and Team Liquid, did not make it to the championship. Probably, they will try to get involved in the slot through open qualifiers.

It is reported that tickets to the championship were issued in accordance with several criteria: the status of an ESL partner, a position in the ranking from ESL and a local invite (for FURIA).
Among other things, the organizers announced the teams that received invitations to closed qualifiers in Europe, North America, Asia and Latin America.
