sh1ro, Cloud9 's sniper, turned out to be the best Challengers Stage player at IEM Rio Major 2022. According to the results of the last stage, the young player scored an incredible rating of 1.45. Moreover, the Cloud9 team managed to break into the "legends" of the Major, having made a comeback during the tournament after two defeats at the start.

He was followed by xertioN — the player MOUZ finished his performances with an overall rating of 1.41, having also made it to the next stage of IEM Rio Major 2022. The third place according to statistics is left for syrsoN — the BIG sniper has a similar result (1.41).

Fourth place was taken by KSCERATO, which delighted the local audience not only with FURIA's excellent performances, but also with a high individual result - a rating of 1.40. Next up is ZywOo, who finished the Challengers Stage with an overall rating of 1.39.

According to the statistics, rigoN (Bad News Eagles), frozen (MOUZ) and sinnopsyy (Bad News Eagles) also got into the TOP-8 — rating 1.38, 1.35 and 1.33 respectively.

IEM Rio Major 2022 takes place from October 31 to November 13 in Brazil at the Jeunesse Arena and at the Riocentro convention center. As part of the championship, 24 teams from the CIS, Europe, North and South America, and Asia are fighting for a total prize pool of $1,250,000, ranking points in the BLAST Premier table, as well as tickets to BLAST Premier: World Final 2022 and IEM Katowice 2023 for the winner.
