The OG team lost to Vitality with a score of 1:2, thus leaving IEM Rio Major 2022. According to the results of the championship, the European team takes 17-19th place, earning $10,000. In turn, the wards of zonic get the third victory and make their way to the "legends" of the major.

The first meeting of the fifth round of the Challengers Stage started on the Vertigo map, which became the choice of Vitality. But if the starting segment was left for the OG players, then closer to the change of sides, the wards of zonic managed to equalize their position and reduce the gap to a minimum — 8:7. After switching sides, the teams continued to exchange rounds without letting each other go forward. So the players brought it to overtime, where Vitality nevertheless took its toll and took the lead in the series — 19:17.

Next, the teams moved to the Inferno map, which turned out to be the choice of OG. However, the wards of ruggah very quickly seized the initiative in order to confidently win back for the attack and get a twofold advantage - 10:5. After the side switch, the Danish-French team never bothered to return to the game, while OG quickly got the necessary rounds and brought the series to the third map — 16:6.

Everything was decided on the Dust 2 map, the first half of which began under the dictation of nexa and the company. However, closer to the equator, Vitality managed to find its game in attack in order to secure a minimal lead — 8:7. Nevertheless, after the switchover, the Danish-French team managed to seize the initiative in order to break the opponent, and at the same time get the final victory — 16:8.

IEM Rio Major 2022 takes place from October 31 to November 13 in Brazil at the Jeunesse Arena and at the Riocentro convention center.
