Yesterday's gaming day was the last one for MOUZ players. Representatives of this team failed to beat Team Liquid in the second semi-final match and ended their participation in ESL Pro League Season 16.

The first map where the teams fought was Inferno. There, MOUZ started on the defensive side, but failed to show a beautiful defense, as a result of which they took only 4 rounds in the first half. After the transition, their game improved, but this was not enough. Taking 6 rounds for the attack, they were defeated at Inferno with a score of 16-10.

The second and last card in this fight was Ancient. Team Liquid, just like last time, had a very cheerful first half and took 9 rounds for defense. After the transition, MOUZ was able to successfully repel the attack of nitr0 and the company five times and with a score of 11-16 they were also defeated on Ancient.

As a result, MOUZ took 5th-8th place in the ESL Pro League Season 16 standings and received a reward of $37,500. Earlier, the players from FaZe Clan came to the same result, losing in the match against Cloud9 with a score of 1-2. Now Team Liquid will compete with C9 for reaching the grand final and the main reward of $175,000 + invitations to BLAST Premier World Final 2022 and IEM Katowice 2023.

In the next matches, we will be able to watch the confrontations between G2 Esports vs Natus Vincere and Team Vitality vs Outsiders.

ESL Pro League Season 16 runs from August 31st to October 2nd in Malta at the Salini Resort. 24 teams from Europe, CIS, North and South America compete for a total prize pool of $835,000. The winner of the tournament will receive the main prize of $175,000, as well as tickets to BLAST Premier: World Final 2022 and IEM Katowice 2023.
