The second confrontation of the game day started on the Nuke map, which became the choice of the French team. Initially, everything was in favor of the HEET players, who showed a confident start in attack and gained an advantage. But closer to the change of sides, the North Americans managed to seize the initiative, thus getting three rounds of difference - 9:6. After switching sides, Complexity began to squeeze the opponent, who could not straighten out his economy in any way. As a result, HEET took only two rounds for defense, thus allowing the North American team to take the lead — 16:8.

Next, the teams moved to the Overpass map, which became the choice of Complexity. At the same time, the first half went in an equal fight, albeit with a minimal advantage in favor of the North American team — 8:7. After switching sides, the teams continued to trade in a series of rounds until Complexity took the final spurt. As a result, the North Americans managed to break the resistance of the opponent in defense, and at the same time get the second victory in the tournament.

In the next round of the group stage, Complexity will play Heroic, while the French team will face Astralis.

ESL Pro League Season 16 runs from August 31st to October 2nd in Malta at the Salini Resort. 24 teams from Europe, CIS, North and South America compete for a total prize pool of $835,000.
