The MOUZ team turned out to be stronger than Heroic with a score of 2:0, thanks to which they scored the first three points in the group stage of ESL Pro League Season 16. Now the European team will prepare for their next match, which will take place tomorrow, September 15th. In turn, the wards of Xizt aggravated their position in group C, rolling back to the very bottom of the standings.

Group C's first confrontation started on Mirage, the map of choice for MOUZ. But if the starting segment was left for the wards of sycrone, then closer to the change of sides, Heroic managed to equalize the situation and even take the lead - 9:6. After switching sides, the "mouse" began to save the situation, slowly regaining the initiative. As a result, the Danish team failed to cope with the pressure, thus allowing MOUZ to take the lead in the series — 16:14.

Next, the teams moved to the Dust 2 map, which unexpectedly became Heroic's choice. However, the Danish team soon regretted their decision, having come up with nothing in the attack. In turn, MOUZ performed well in defense, almost solving all issues - 11:4. After switching sides, the Danes began to correct the situation, but the lost force-round closed the comeback. As a result, the "mice" managed to take the initiative under their control, and at the same time they got their first victory in the championship - 16:9.

In the next round of the championship, MOUZ will play Astralis, while Heroic will face ENCE.

ESL Pro League Season 16 runs from August 31st to October 2nd in Malta at the Salini Resort. 24 teams from Europe, CIS, North and South America compete for a total prize pool of $835,000.
