There is a little less than an hour left before the start of the final round of Group B at ESL Pro League Season 16. Three matches that will run in parallel will determine the outcome of all six teams.

Yes, MIBR and FTW will definitely not leave the group, but instead they will share prestige points. In turn, G2 and Outsiders will definitely play in the playoffs, playing the first line. This celebration of life is also attended by FaZe Clan and BIG, who will compete for the TOP-3 of their group in a face-to-face fight.

In this article, we will outline the possible scenarios following the results of the final matches of Group B at ESL Pro League Season 16. Although, something tells us that things will not be without sensations.

MIBR-FTW

Let's start small. This encounter does not affect any other duel. In this case, the teams will play for the prize pool - the winner will receive $12,500, and the loser will receive only $6,000. Well, do not forget that the chance not to become the worst team in your group is a great motivation.

FaZe Clan-BIG

The most intriguing confrontation of the gaming day. From a general point of view, everything is simple. FaZe Clan wins - the team advances to the playoffs. At the same time, in case of defeat, the team has any chances to get into the TOP-3 groups. Let's analyze all possible layouts, involving a parallel duel.

  1. FaZe Clan win with a score of 2:0, Outsiders lose with any score = G2 (1st place), FaZe Clan (2nd place), Outsiders (3rd place), BIG (4th place) - RobbaN's wards are better than Outsiders in personal meetings
  2. FaZe Clan win with a score of 2:1, Outsiders lose with any score = G2 (1st place), FaZe Clan (2nd place), Outsiders (3rd place), BIG (4th place) - RobbaN's wards are better than Outsiders in personal meetings
  3. FaZe Clan win with any score, Outsiders win with a score of 2:0 = Outsiders (1st place), G2 (2nd place), FaZe Clan (3rd place), BIG (4th place)
  4. FaZe Clan win with any score, Outsiders win with a score of 2:1 = G2 (1st place), FaZe Clan (2nd place), Outsiders (3rd place), BIG (4th place)
  5. Defeat FaZe Clan with a score of 0:2, Defeat Outsiders with any score = G2 (1st place), Outsiders (2nd place), BIG (3rd place), FaZe Clan (4th place) - map difference + defeat in a personal meeting will not play in favor FaZe Clan
  6. Lose FaZe Clan 0:2, Outsiders win any score = Outsiders (1st place), G2 (2nd place), BIG (3rd place), FaZe Clan (4th place)
  7. Defeat FaZe Clan 1:2, Defeat Outsiders with any score = G2 (1st place), Outsiders (2nd place), FaZe Clan (3rd place), BIG (4th place)
  8. FaZe Clan lost 1:2, Outsiders won any score = Outsiders (1st place), G2 (2nd place), BIG (3rd place), FaZe Clan (4th place)
