Imperial Esports and paiN Gaming will play in the same group at ESL Challenger at DreamHack Melbourne 2022
/Tournament operator ESL has presented the results of the group stage draw for ESL Challenger at DreamHack Melbourne 2022. According to its results, the Brazilian teams Imperial Esports and paiN Gaming got into group B, where, together with the Australian teams ORDER and VERTEX ESC, they will compete for two tickets to the playoffs.
Group A
The first quartet included the European team OG, which is currently focusing its efforts on BLAST Premier: Fall Groups 2022. The tournament favorite in Group A will be accompanied by the Entropiq team, which, we recall, made it to the championship from the qualifiers. Also, Evil Geniuses and Wings Up Gaming will play in the same group with them.
Team | Claimed Composition |
---|---|
OG | flameZ, nexa, NEOFRAG, F1KU, degster |
Entropiq | El1an, NickelBack, Krad, Forester, mir |
Evil Geniuses | PwnAlone, ben1337, djay, Jonji, viz |
Wings Up Gaming | lan, gas, ChildKing, MarT1n, B1NGO |
Group B
The main interest will be focused on the next quartet, which at the same time found a place for the Brazilian teams Imperial Esports and paiN Gaming. They will be accompanied by teams from Australia - ORDER and VERTEX ESC - to which genuine interest from the local public will be riveted.
Team | Claimed Composition |
---|---|
Imperial Esports | FalleN, fer, boltz, VINI, chelo |
paiN Gaming | PKL, biguzera, hardzao, zevy, skullz |
ORDER | Sico, INS, AliStair, Liazz, Hatz |
VERTEX ESC | BRACE, ADDICT, malta, BL1TZ, pz |
Note that the ORDER team will be forced to play with Hatz, who left the roster at the beginning of August. However, due to the rules of Vexite, the team's rookie, cannot be played for the new club, as the young Aussie competed with VERTEX ESC in qualifying.
It is also interesting to see the updated rosters of Imperial Esports and paiN Gaming. The former are seeing big changes, as chelo joined the team, while fnx moved to the coach slot.
