The seeding of teams in the group stage of ESL Pro League Season 16 became known

Tournament operator ESL has announced the distribution of teams in the group stage of ESL Pro League Season 16. In total, 4 groups of 6 participants will be represented at the CS:GO championship.

In the group stage, the teams will play round-robin bo3 matches. Top 3 teams from each group will advance to the playoffs. The clubs that take the first places will receive a slot in the quarter-finals of the tournament.

Recall that ESL Pro League Season 16 will be held from August 31 to October 2 this year in a LAN format. 24 teams will compete for the $835,000 prize pool as well as BLAST Premier points. The winner of the championship will receive the main prize of $175,000, 2800 BLAST Premier points, as well as slots in BLAST World Final 2022 and IEM Katowice 2023.
