BLAST to hold Premier World Final 2022 in Abu Dhabi
The BLAST tournament operator has announced new details regarding the CS:GO championship, which will put an end to the BLAST Premier 2022, World Final series of tournaments.
BLAST Premier World Final 2022 will be held from December 14 to 18 in the United Arab Emirates, in the city of Abu Dhabi. The venue will be the Etihan Arena, and a prize pool of $1,000,000 will be drawn between the top eight teams, where the winner will receive half of the prize money. It is noteworthy that the organizers wrote: "HEROES will be crowned." We do not know exactly what this could mean yet, but we assume that, by analogy with the Intel Grand Slam, where the winners of the series are awarded personalized gold bars, BLAST will put personalized crowns on the winners of the tournament.
At the moment, two participants of the event are known. Natus Vincere received an invitation as the winner of BLAST Premier Spring Finals 2022, and FaZe Clan won ESL Pro League Season 15 and PGL Major Antwerp 2022. One more team will receive an invite after winning BLAST Premier Fall Finals 2022, and the fourth and fifth participants will be announced after the end of Intel Extreme Masters Rio Major 2022 and ESL Pro League Season 16. The remaining three teams will be selected through the global rating table from BLAST.
