Elisa Masters Espoo 2022 announced with $200,000 prize pool
Ihor MatusFinnish tournament operator Elisa Esports announced on his Twitter account that he is going to hold a CS:GO championship with a prize pool of $200,000. As part of the competition, not only prize money will be drawn, but also an invitation to Intel Extreme Masters Katowice 2023.
The championship will be held from 16 to 20 November 2022 in Espoo, Finland. The venue will be the Espoo Metro Arena. From the 16th to the 17th, the matches will be held in a format closed to the public. On the rest of the days, the players will move to the arena, where they will receive support from the audience.
The event starts with a group stage. 12 participants will be divided into 2 groups of 6 teams in each of them. The top teams from each sextet will advance to the semi-finals. Teams that will be located in the groups on the 2nd and 3rd lines will go to the quarterfinals. The playoffs will be held in the Single-Elimination format with the top six participants in the group stage.
