fnatic beat Astralis and advanced to the Elisa Masters Espoo 2022 grand final

The fnatic team outplayed Astralis with a score of 2:0, thanks to which they made it to the grand final of Elisa Masters Espoo 2022. Here, keita's men will meet with BIG, who won the semi-finals over Sprout. In turn, the Danish team Astralis left the championship, taking 3rd-4th place and earning a prize of $14,000.

The final semi-final of the championship started on the Mirage map, which became the choice of the Danish team. However, the first half was entirely dictated by the fnatic players, who showed excellent defense. Nevertheless, by the end of the half Astralis managed to get a few rounds, thus equalizing their position - 11:4. After switching sides, the Danes began to recoup, quickly catching up with the opponent. And yet, in the end, fnatic managed to break the opponent's economy, and at the same time prevent a comeback and take the lead in the series — 16:9.

The teams then moved to Overpass, which turned out to be fnatic's choice. Here, the spectators saw much more struggle, while keita's charges managed to survive in the attack and get a minimal advantage - 8:7. After the change of sides, the situation did not change, however, now the Danes owned a small initiative, and they made it to overtime. And yet here the fnatic players took the lead, thus making it to the grand final of the championship — 19:16.

Elisa Masters Espoo 2022 takes place from November 16 to 20 in the Finnish city of Espoo at the Espoo Metro Arena. As part of the championship, twelve teams from Europe are fighting for a total prize pool of $200,000, as well as a ticket to Intel Extreme Masters Katowice 2023.
