The playoffs of the ESL Pro League Season 23 Finals began with a confident performance from Natus Vincere. The Ukrainian squad defeated The MongolZ 2–0 in the first quarterfinal of the tournament to become the first semifinalist of the event. NAVI managed to turn the tide on their own map pick Ancient, and then completely dominated Mirage, leaving the Mongolian team with no chance.

The first quarterfinal match of ESL Pro League S23 started on Ancient. The situation changed once NAVI switched to defense, as they seized the momentum and closed Ancient with a 13–11 victory.
Mirage ended with a convincing 13–4 win for NAVI. From the very first rounds, the Born to Win squad fully controlled the game. The first half finished 10–2 in NAVI’s favor, and The MongolZ never managed to get back into the match, eventually losing 4–13.
