5122Disappointing news for G2 Esports fans: XTQZZZ will miss the IEM Katowice 2022 playoffs. The 33-year-old French specialist has contracted the coronavirus and is forced to miss the decisive stage of the championship, as he announced on his Twitter.
Bad news ahead of the playoffs. I tested positive for COVID-19 yesterday and have some symptoms. As a result, I am now in isolation and out of the tournament. I won't be able to coach the team at Spodek Arena. This is very difficult to accept.

As a reminder, ESL previously released a security protocol that states that players who test positive for coronavirus cannot take part in the IEM Katowice 2022 playoffs. While the document did not mention coaches, it is likely that the rules apply to all personnel of participating teams.
In the quarterfinals of IEM Katowice 2022, the G2 Esports team will face Virtus.pro. The winner of the match will advance to the next stage of the competition, where he will play with the NAVI team.
