The NaVi team lost to G2 Esports with a score of 0:2 and left IEM Katowice 2022. At the same time, the European team made it to the grand final of the championship, in which they will meet the winner of the Heroic — FaZe Clan pair.

The first semi-final of the game day started on the Inferno map, which became the choice of the G2 Esports team. At the same time, the “owners” took the initiative into their own hands from the very start, literally rolling out the opponent's defense. And yet, NAVI managed to even out the situation by the break, reducing the gap to five rounds. After the change of sides, "Born to Win" added and managed to get closer to the opponent. However, G2 Esports managed to hold out and win at their own peak — 16:11.

Everything was decided on the Mirage map, which turned out to be the choice of NAVI. However, the first half completely went to G2 Esports, which again took the initiative into their own hands, going to the break with a comfortable score of 11:4. However, after switching sides, NAVI managed to quickly catch up with the opponent, at some point believing in victory. Nevertheless, G2 Esports managed to hold several successful rounds, thereby obtaining a sensational victory over NAVI — 16:13.
