ESL Challenger February 2022 Viewer Guide
/ESL Challenger February 2022 will start in a few hours. At the championship, which will be held online from February 11 to 13, eight teams from Europe, Oceania, North and South America will compete for a prize pool of $100,000, ESL Pro Tour points, as well as a ticket to the ESL Pro League Conference Season 16, which will go to the winner. Format of the ESL Challenger February 2022
Initially, ESL Challenger February 2022 was planned to be held in a LAN format. The venue for the championship was to be the American city of Anaheim. However, due to the spread of a new strain of coronavirus, the organizers had to move the tournament online.
The championship will be held in two stages:
- Group stage: February 11-12.
- Playoffs: February 13th.
Eight participants of the event were divided in advance into two quartets, from each of which two teams will go further.
Group A:
- Virtus.pro (CIS).
- Dignitas (Europe).
- Movistar Riders (Europe).
- 9z (Latin America).
Group B:
- Complexity Gaming (North America).
- FURIA (Brazil).
- HEET (Europe).
- ORDER (Oceania).
The ESL Challenger February 2022 group stage will be held in the GSL format. The opening matches and meetings of the winners will be held in the BO1 format. In turn, the decisive fights for the right to reach the playoffs and leave the tournament will be held in the BO3 format.
The playoffs of the championship will be held within one day. The team that took first place in group A will meet with the second team from group B. At the same time, the team that became the best in group B will play with the second team of the first quartet. All ESL Challenger February 2022 playoff matches will be held in BO3 format.

Prize pool distribution
- 1st place: $50,000 + 100 EPT points + seat at EPL Conference S16.
- 2nd Place: $20,000 + 60 EPT Points
- 3rd-4th place: $10,000 + 40 EPT points.
- 5th-6th place: $3,000 + 20 EPT points.
- 7th-8th place: $2,000.
