ESL Challenger February 2022 has come to an end. At the championship, which was held online from February 11 to February 13, eight teams from all over the world fought for a prize pool of $100,000, as well as a ticket to the ESL Pro League Conference Season 16. Virtus became the winner of the tournament .pro, which beat the Brazilian team FURIA in the grand final with a score of 2:0 (Inferno - 16:5; Overpass - 16:7).

The tournament for the future winner began with a difficult debut meeting, in which Virtus.pro outplayed 9z with great difficulty (16:14). However, a few hours later, the team beat Movistar Riders without a chance (16:3), thanks to which they secured a place in the championship playoffs.

In the semi-finals, the CIS team again did not feel much resistance, having outplayed Complexity (2:0) without any problems. The final match went in a similar vein for Virtus.pro, as the team quickly seized the initiative on the server, controlling the opponent's play. As a result, it was not difficult for the team to win first on the FURIA selection, and then on their own Overpass map, to earn $50,000.
