Complexity, Team Liquid и Evil Geniuses покинули BLAST Premier Spring Groups 2022

Complexity, Team Liquid and Evil Geniuses left BLAST Premier Spring Groups 2022. As part of the quarterfinals of the Play-In stage, the clubs lost to MIBR (0:2), NAVI (0:2) and BIG (1:2), thus going to BLAST Premier Spring Showdown 2022.

Complexity-MIBR

The first meeting of the game day began on the Nuke map, which became the choice of the North American team. However, MIBR players showed a confident half defense, getting a two-fold advantage before switching sides. In the second half, Complexity began to recoup. However, constant errors did not allow the team to return, allowing MIBR to take the lead in the series - 16:13.

Then the teams moved to Ancient, which turned out to be the choice of MIBR. Now the North Americans had the advantage, finishing the half with a score of 9:6 in their favor. However, after the switchover, the Brazilian team quickly began to bounce back, closing the gap. And even though at some point the players of Complexity had a chance to win, MIBR managed to catch up with the opponent, and at the same time get a sensational victory - 16:14.

NAVI-Team Liquid

The principal meeting between NAVI and Team Liquid started on the Mirage map, which became the choice of the "Born to Win". At the same time, the “owners” did not manage to get an advantage as such before switching sides, finishing the half in attack with a score of 8:7. However, in the second half, NAVI quickly recovered, effectively forcing the North Americans to surrender. As a result, an easy victory for the team from the CIS at its own peak, and at the same time the first map of the new season — 16:10.

The teams then moved to Ancient, which, to the surprise of many, became the choice of Team Liquid. However, already in the first half, NAVI pointed out to the North Americans the fallacy of such a pick, closing the half on defense with a disastrous score for the opponent - 13:2. After the side switch, Team Liquid started to bounce back and even managed to equalize the odds. Nevertheless, NAVI had enough advantage not to experience problems and get the first victory in the BLAST Premier Spring Groups 2022 - 16:12.

B.I.G. Evil Geniuses

The final quarter-finals started on the Overpass map, which became the choice of the North American team. At the same time, Evil Geniuses seized the initiative very quickly, finishing the half in attack with a comfortable advantage. After the side switch, the hosts quickly started to run forward, while BIG could not get used to the rhythm of the match. As a result, an easy victory for Evil Geniuses at its peak and the first map won in the championship — 16:8.

Next, the teams moved to the Dust 2 map, which became the choice of BIG. At the same time, the German team quickly began to restore the status quo, showing a confident game in attack. After the side switch, the game leveled off, which still did not help Evil Geniuses in their attempts to recoup. Well, BIG confidently closed all questions, leveling the score in the series — 16:12.

Everything was decided on the Vertigo map, which started in an equal fight. As a result, BIG managed to get a minimal advantage, but at the same time self-confidence. At the same time, Evil Geniuses, having moved over to the side of the attack, could not come up with anything on the server. At the same time, BIG players quickly adapted on defense, managing to get an easy win on the destroyer — 16:10.

After this defeat, Complexity, Team Liquid and Evil Geniuses left the championship, earning $5,666 each. At the same time, North American teams will perform at BLAST Premier Spring Showdown 2022, which will be held from April 20 to 24.
