Train (13:7 NiP)

The series kicked off on Train, NiP’s map pick. The first half was completely under NiP’s control as they put together a streak of 10 consecutive round wins, giving them both an economic edge and psychological pressure over their opponents. In the second half on the T side, B8 tried to shift the momentum in their favor but couldn’t pull off a comeback, and the map ended 13:7 for NiP.

Dust2 (13:11 NiP)

On their own pick, Dust2, the Ukrainian team didn’t start well but managed to close the first half 5:7. In the second half on the CT side, B8 mounted an impressive run, taking six rounds in a row from 5:11 to tie the score at 11:11, getting just a step away from victory. However, NiP secured two crucial rounds to close the map 13:11 and the series 2-0.

Match MVP
