The lower bracket final of StarLadder StarSeries Fall 2025 delivered a surprising result: B8 defeated Passion UA 2:0. Despite Passion UA being considered the favorites coming into this matchup, B8 managed to impose their own game and confidently secured the victory.

Train (13:8 B8)

The opening map of the series was Train — Passion UA’s pick. However, the first half ended with a large deficit for them at 10:2 in favor of B8. On the defensive side, Passion UA managed to improve their standing and brought the score to a more workable 11:8, but B8 closed out the last two key rounds to seal the map.

Dust2 (13:11 B8)

B8 selected Dust2 and started strong, holding economic control and finishing the first half with a 7:5 advantage. In the second half, Passion UA gave up the first two rounds but then managed to seize the momentum, stringing together five rounds in a row to lead 10:9. Even so, B8 did not allow their opponents to push the game into overtime, where Passion UA could have had a real chance to win and force the decider on Inferno. Instead, B8 closed the map 13:11 and the series 2:0.

After the match, Passion UA reacted on their official X (Twitter) account, acknowledging the loss and thanking fans for their support:

MVP of the Match

The best player of the match was Artem "kensizor" Kapran, who delivered an outstanding individual performance. Across the two maps, he recorded the highest ADR at 106.8, a Swing of +5.57%, and an impressive 1.59 rating.

B8, on the other hand, proved their competitiveness and earned another chance to move forward. They will now face Gentle Mates in the lower bracket final, with only one team continuing their run in the tournament. StarLadder StarSeries Fall 2025 takes place from September 18 to 21, with the winner claiming the grand prize of $200,000.
