Vitality-MIBR
The game day started on the Dust 2 map, which became the choice of the Brazilian team. At the same time, MIBR showed a fairly confident game in attack, managing to prevent a defeat. After the change of sides, the “owners” continued to bend their line, thereby catching up with the opponent. However, the players of Vitality turned on here, who quickly found the key to defending MIBR, thereby managing to secure the victory — 16:10.
The teams then moved on to the Inferno map, which began with a real disaster for the Brazilians. As a result, Vitality managed to quickly seize the initiative, showing a great half in the attack. Well, after the change of sides, the Danish-French team confidently resolved all the issues, giving the opponent only one round - 16:5.
NIP-NAVI
The principal series between NIP and NAVI started on the Nuke map, which became the choice of the "Born to Win". At the same time, the “hosts”, having shown a confident start in the attack, gradually lost the initiative, and then completely allowed the opponent to get a minimal advantage before switching sides. In the second half, NAVI managed to bounce back, not only leveling the economy, but also preventing any early NIP aggression. As a result, the team from the CIS simply closed their own pick and took the lead in the series — 16:11.
Next, the teams moved to the Overpass map, which turned out to be the NIP's choice. At the same time, the Swedes showed a confident game in attack, actually crushing NAVI in defense. And yet, "Born to Win" managed to close the gap to three rounds, getting good chances for a comeback. However, after the change of sides, NIP finally seized the initiative on the server, not allowing the opponent to breathe. As a result, an easy victory for the Swedish team and access to the third map — 16:11.
Everything was decided on Mirage, where NIP continued to break the rhythm, dealing with the opponent's attacking attempts over and over again. Well, NAVI actually offered nothing in the attack, thereby getting a two-fold backlog before switching sides. In the second half, NIP started right off the bat again, putting the Born to Win in an uncomfortable position. However, NAVI failed to offer anything to the opponent, thus allowing the Swedes to get a sensational victory - 16:7.
Astralis-BIG
The final confrontation of the gaming day started on the Dust 2 map, which became the choice of the German team. At the same time, BIG, having shown a great start in the half, lost its advantage, leaving for a short pause with only one single round of advantage. After switching sides, the Germans again showed a great start, having received six map points at once. Nevertheless, despite Astralis' attempts to catch up, BIG managed to keep the advantage and take the lead in this series — 16:13.
Next, the teams moved to the Mirage map, which became the choice of Astralis. However, the Danes very soon wished for their own choice, managing to win only one round in attack. At the same time, BIG also showed an exemplary game on defense, reading the opponent over and over again. In the second half, Astralis managed to even out the situation by winning a series of rounds. And yet, this did not save the Danes from defeat, since only two rounds were enough for BIG to secure the victory — 16:7.
