The match between NRG and FURIA at BLAST Open Rotterdam 2026 turned into a true test of endurance and character. In a tense best-of-three series, both teams secured convincing wins on their own map picks, with everything coming down to the decider. In the end, the Brazilian side adapted better in key moments and closed out the series 2–1, eliminating NRG from the tournament.

Mirage (13:10 NRG)

Mirage ended in favor of NRG. Despite FURIA having the edge in the first half with a strong CT side (8:4), NRG took control after the side switch. They responded with a solid defense of their own, allowing FURIA to win only two rounds on the T side and securing a 13:10 victory on their map pick.

Nuke (2:13 FURIA)

FURIA responded with a dominant performance on their own map. The Brazilian squad started strong on the T side, closing the first half 10:2. After the side switch, there was no comeback in sight, as FURIA comfortably finished the map 13:2.

Dust2 (7:13 FURIA)

The deciding Dust2 also went the way of the Brazilian team. Although the first half was relatively close, with FURIA leading by just two rounds, things changed after the switch. NRG struggled on the CT side, managing to win only two rounds. The final score was 13:7 in favor of FURIA, sealing the 2–1 series victory.

Match MVP

The standout player of the match was molodoy from FURIA, who finished the series with an ADR of 102.3 and a 1.59 rating.

FURIA remain in contention and will play a deciding match against Falcons for a spot in the playoffs. NRG Esports finish their run in 9th–12th place, earning $7,500 for the team and $25,000 for the organization. BLAST Open Rotterdam 2026 takes place from March 18 to March 29, featuring 16 teams competing for the championship title and a $250,000 prize pool.
