G2 Esports announced changes in its CS: GO roster. The organization included kennyS in its application for IEM Winter 2021 as nexa is having difficulties obtaining a visa. It is expected that kennyS will be the main sniper of the team during the forced changes. Who will perform the duties of the team captain is unknown.

"kennyS has been announced as a substitute for G2 for the near future, as nexa is having problems obtaining a visa. As soon as nexa resolves its problems, kennyS will return to the bench again. We will inform you about upcoming changes in the CS: GO starting lineup ," she said esports organization.

As a reminder, kennyS left the main roster of G2 Esports in March 2021. Since that time, the 26-year-old Frenchman was inactive, sometimes appearing in show matches. However, after the completion of PGL Major Stockholm 2021, maLeK left the team, who had led the team for the past three years. The Swani analyst will act as coach for the upcoming tournaments.

IEM Winter 2021 will take place from December 2 to December 12 in a studio format. For G2 Esports, the championship will start with a match against the Chinese team TYLOO.
