NAVI Promotes Makazze to Main CS2 Roster, Junior Squad Listed for Transfer
Ukrainian esports organization NAVI has officially announced that Drin “Makazze” Shakiri, a standout player from NAVI Junior, is being promoted to the main CS2 roster. The decision comes after a year of remarkable performance from the NAVI Junior lineup, which consistently won tier-2 events and broke into the top 30 of Valve’s world rankings. However, the organization has not yet revealed which main roster player Makazze will replace.
As part of the structural shift, NAVI has placed the remaining NAVI Junior players and their coach on the transfer list. This move is driven by limitations in the CS ecosystem that prevent further development under the NAVI tag. The players listed include:
- Dmytro "dem0n" Myroshnychenko
- Nikita "cmtry" Samolotov
- Džiugas "dziugss" Steponavičius
- Aulon "Krabeni" Fazlija
- András "coolio" Ferčák (coach)
NAVI has confirmed plans to form a new Junior roster soon. As one chapter ends, a new one begins—stay tuned for updates on the next generation of NAVI talent.
