Gambit Esports and Entropiq Meet at the V4 Future Sports Festival 2021 Grand Final

Gambit Esports and Entropiq will meet in the grand final of the V4 Future Sports Festival 2021. The teams outplayed BIG and Fiend respectively, thus giving the CIS derby fans in the championship final. Now Gambit Esports and Entropiq will vie for the right to become the owner of a substantial part of the prize pool in the amount of € 150,000.

BIG - Gambit

The first semi-final started on Ancient, which came as a surprise to the German team. Already in the first half, Gambit showed a confident attack, taking 11 rounds before switching sides. At the same time, the second half was marked by disappointment for BIG, since the German team did not come up with anything in the attack, finally capitulating with a score of 5:16.

It seemed that the Germans would improve on Dust 2. However, the Russian team showed confident defensive play, gaining an advantage in the form of three rounds. After the changeover, BIG began to catch up with their opponents, instilling confidence in their fans. Nevertheless, a series of successful tactical rounds from Gambit put an end to all attempts of the German team to recoup. As a result, the CIS team secured a confident victory over the opponent with a score of 16:12, and at the same time became the first grand finalist of the V4 Future Sports Festival 2021.

Entropiq - Fiend

In the second semi-final, the Bulgarian team did not reinvent the wheel, once again picking the Mirage card. Entropiq players were clearly ready for this, who showed exemplary defense, gaining a huge advantage in the end. At the same time, Fiend managed to get involved in the fight, taking several important rounds. Nevertheless, the Russian team closed a possible comeback by experience, having issued a victory at the opponent's pick - 16:12.

On Ancient everything became completely clear, as Entropiq again took eleven rounds at the end of the first half, this time showing a phenomenal attack. After the change of sides, Fiend's game finally fell apart, while the Russian team in an easy style solved all the issues, ensuring that they reached the grand final of the tournament - 16: 5.

The V4 Future Sports Festival 2021 takes place from November 14th to 21st at Studio Environment in Budapest. 12 teams from Europe and the CIS are competing for a prize pool of € 300,000.
